Poem: Queenie Land
Every girl should understand
That she’s the Queen
Of Queenie Land.
A special place inside her soul,
Where she decides who comes
And goes.
And no-one should ever make her feel
As though her desires
Are not real.
As if her body is not her own,
As if her mind
Can never know...
When another takes control.
I say to her,
Get back on your throne.
None of this you must condone.
You have permission to say no.
Let them cry and scream and vent.
It is not your duty to consent.
Do not surrender or relent.
For, safety of your sovereign state
Comes before anyone’s want
Or ache.
Banish them from your Queendom.
Exile them from your Empire.
Keeping Queenie Land clean and pretty.
It shall not descend into a dirty city.
